Description
the Rabbit and Lion tribes have been living in peace for years both tribes maintaining a strong druidic tradition and a closeness to nature despite the modern times. In honor of the ancient past and in respect to the cycle of all things there is a special ritual, a rite of passage, held once a year on the summer Solstice. In which one young boy of the Rabbit Tribe is chosen as a sacrifice for one young boy of the Lion tribe. It's a symbol of the cycle of predator and prey but also a celebration of fertility and male virility. Females used to be chosen as well but underage pregnancy are often a complicated business so now they use males it's all symbolic anyway.
So on this special night one young rabbit boy is chosen to be the avatar of the god of fertility often represented as a rabbit while one special lion is chosen to represent the god of the hunt and sexual potency. The people believe it fosters good relations between there two tribes and insures a good harvest and plentiful hunts. This year it was Kevin and Kiwa, two close friends and Kevin even got to have his best Friend Jeffy and his buddy Andy act as witnesses. (They wanted to stay up late and watch!) SO Kevin dressed in the ceremonial garb which was just that golden jewelry and his friends followed suit walking sky clad out of town through the warm summer night into the clearing and the circle of stones were they met Kiwa and the Druid presiding over the solstice ritual, Lyser.
Unfortunately this year's chosen Sacrifice and his counterpart seem to be mixing up the tradition...the bunny's not supposed to be on top!
You're doing it wrong! DX now we have to start over! Poor Lyser has to set this whole thing up again...well maybe it will be ok with this one, little change...
